Painted in watercolors, I derived inspiration for the setting and layout from Lena's epic fiction, Of Age and more specifically from the below excerpt in Chapter 5 part 2. "Open your eyes, Wolfram," Yuuri said, his voice barely audible.

Wolfram dropped his chin in disappointment, but also felt a sense of acceptance. He opened his eyes slowly, finding that Yuuri still had not moved. He felt the soft touch of Yuuri’s fingers underneath his chin, elevating his gaze to meet the infinite depths of Yuuri’s eyes.

“That’s better,” Yuuri whispered, his touch moving to caress Wolfram’s cheek delicately. Then, the space between them disappeared, and Yuuri’s lips were on his.
