Title: One Night I Dreamt.
Day/Theme: March 6th/ one night I dreamt I was a butterfly
Series: Original
Rating: PG/PG13 (minor innuendo)
Word Count: 267
Author's Note: I know it's no longer March, but I'm still finding these themes highly inspiring. Also written in first person POV, a rarity for me.

Title: A Series of What Ifs
Fandom: Original
Rating: PG13
Genre: Fluff, College Talk
Wordcount: 1,753
Author's Note: The inspiration for this series came from one of my long-standing friends. She asked me to write her a story and when I asked for clarification, she said, “A what if story.” This is what I managed to come up with.
----> That was written in 2005 when I first started writing this. I took a long hiatus because life got busy and then I got lazy. This was finished during nano2008 and combined with my lack of experience back in 2005, may contain some gross errors as it remains largely unedited after it's original posting.
Summary: Two college kids meet under unexpected circumstances and part ways, wondering, just maybe, what would have happened if life hadn't called them apart. This, was their first what if.

Title: Life is but a Shadow
Fandom: Original
Rating: PG
Genre: Drama, General, Contemplative
Wordcount: 472
Author's note: My muse has been curiously absent lately. So annoying. Anyways, I wrote this next piece in free-flow so to speak. Aka, I was writing because I wanted to write but hadn't a clue what to write about. Still, I liked it well enough that I'm going to go ahead and post it, obviously. You should also be able to id what line in the fic prompted me to look up the below shakesperean quote.
Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day, to the last syllable of recorded time; and all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. Out, out brief candle! Life is but a shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Macbeth, Act V, v19

Fandom: Original
Rating: PG
Genre: Romance, Drama, General
Wordcount: 4731
Pairing(s): Arie/Damon
Summary: There came a time when the task of cataloguing the dreams and hopes of an entire world fell unto the slender shoulders of a young girl and the task of warden fell to an equally as young boy. Estranged, they each feel the bitter bite of a destiny they never wanted as they travel the unceasing road of duty. When they meet, will they give in to fate or attempt to make one of their own?
Author's note: This is written for
fictionhaven's April theme of 'Fairytale' and is also based off of a dream I had back in March. Hopefully, I was able to make sense out of my dream well enough for my reader's to follow.

I've been working for the past month on a fairytale one-shot for
fictionhaven. I just got done with the roughdraft and was trying to think of some names for my characters since I've been using filler names. After finishing writing the whole thing, I kind of have this picture of my two characters and was inspired to write some poems as charcter sketches to help me out.

Note: I'm a little rusy on my poem writing skills. Just forewarning.

Fandom: Original
Rating: PG to PG-13
Genre: Introspection, Drama
Wordcount: 1511
Pairing(s): Betony + Fiance
Warning(s): I'm not sure how much this makes sense. Originally wrote it the day I finished finals and it has since gone through many revisions for clarity thanks to
fluorescens prodding.
Type of Feedback: Anything and everything. This is the first time in a long time I've tried writing a short original fic.
Summary: A much older and much wiser Betony returns to the snow clad hills of her home to remember the night that changed everything.

A Series of What If's - WIP - [3/7]- PG13 - Many often ask what if and if only. So, what if a series of what if's visited two happy college students starting with a simple bump on the head? Will they make their what if's a reality or will they keep it filed under fiction?
