Yay for giggling! As for the shinigami eating thing, remember those episodes with gin and rangiku when gin tells rangiku that she needs to eat something because she had excess soul energy or whatever you call it? The thing that makes shinigami different then the peons ;p When they're around other people with the same energy they get 'weak' and have to replenish themselves by eating. At least, that's how I remember it anyways.
